Here at WritersMarket.com, we regularly collect information to update our pay rate chart (also known as the “How Much Should I Charge?” article). If you want to see the current rates, log in or sign up for a subscription. But today, we need feedback from writers who have made money freelancing in the past year or so.
Your responses will help us provide an accurate snapshot of the current freelancing environment, which many writers then use as an impartial guide to negotiate fairer rates for specific jobs. So by participating, you’ll be doing a form of public service for yourself and other writers.
Plus, everyone who participates will be entered into a drawing for a free copy of the 2014 Writer’s Market, which will include the updated rates.
All you need to do is send an e-mail to me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Pay Rate Survey. Then, I’ll send you a detailed survey, which you’ll complete and return by February 15.
Pretty simple stuff.
If you know any other active or semi-active freelancers, please direct them to this post as well. The more feedback we receive the more accurate our rate chart.
